Hi, I’m Sam — MSc CS at ETH Zürich and web engineer in Zurich. I design and ship performant, accessible web apps end‑to‑end.

I like turning constraints into leverage: slimming bundles with island architecture (Astro), optimizing Core Web Vitals, and building robust APIs with FastAPI/Django. Recent work: cut LCP by ~47% with responsive images + preconnect; shipped a multi‑tenant dashboard with role‑based auth and background jobs; rolled out CI/CD with preview environments and automated a11y checks.

Beyond delivery, I care about the craft—type‑safe interfaces, observability from day one, and clear docs so teams can move fast without breaking things.
